Challenge the predominant narrative of the goals as the preserve of governments and the UN, and establish a sense of civic engagement and activism by creating a space where citizens can share inspiring case studies of what they are doing, however locally, to contribute towards the delivery of the SDGs in Scotland.
If successful in capturing the public’s imagination, the web-platform would ultimately also create a space in which the Scottish and UK Governments and Parliaments would feel compelled to share their own actions and commitments towards all 17 goals both internationally and domestically.
In this way, if successful, the web-platform would:
